There is a problem with many PDB users mistyping comic book Iron Man as ENTP because of the MCU when they haven't picked up a single Iron Man comic in their life. The original comic book tony was ENTJ SO3 and so is this evil version. Everything about this version screams SO3 once you read the story. He launches extremis 3.0 as a free gift to the whole city which is a status move disguised as generosity. He needs the crowd's applause more than he needs the money at first, and only later does the greed kick in once the applause fades a bit. When Daredevil calls him out in private, Tony doesn't even flinch, but the second his product gets attacked in public he grabs the guy midair and threatens him. That is SO3 right there. Private criticism barely registers. Public embarrassment is unforgivable. He also buys a media empire specifically so he can control how he is seen, not because he needs the money. That is textbook SO3 behavior. Prestige and image management over the material itself. He's cold with pepper, dismissive of people beneath him, and treats the whole city as an audience for his personal comeback story. He is also LIE, not SLE. He is constantly thinking in terms of long-term vision and world altering plans, not just winning the fight in front of him. The whole extremis rollout, the media buyout, the biomark plan for controlling war zones, are all Ni-Te thinking. He builds a strategy years in advance and executes it in stages. This is Ni and not the here-and-now dominance an SLE runs on. His Te shows constantly too. He talks in terms of efficiency, statistics, "a small sacrifice for a better quality of life," optimizing outcomes at scale. He treats morality and rules as flexible constraints to route around rather than hard lines, which fits ignoring Ti more than an SLE's more territorial use of Ti as personal law. Where he differs from a normal LIE is the Fe. LIEs are usually bad at faking warmth and would rather drop the act. This Tony is the opposite as he performs charm and geniality as a tool, which fits with a heavily SO3 flavored LIE where Fe becomes weaponized for image control rather than avoided. The vulnerability also fits LIE better than SLE. He can't read Pepper's emotional state accurately and keeps blowing past her warnings until she finally breaks. SLEs usually have decent Fe pull toward warm atmospheres and just lack subtlety with Fi. This Tony lacks both, he's cold and emotionally tone deaf in a way that's more consistent with vulnerable Si plus weak Fi than an SLE's more socially charismatic Se-Fe combo.
Biographie
Superior Iron Man is a major antagonist from Marvel Comics. He is a villainous version of the heroic character who would debut following the events of Axis to become the titular villainous protagonist of the comic book miniseries of the same name. Unlike the original Iron Man, this version has probably the darkest possible qualities of Tony Stark merged into a single being, with this Stark being designed to be a fully-fledged "bad guy" rather than morally dubious.
