She often looks after her classmates and is particularly concerned about Shinta and Hayate who frequently bicker. She's very caring and a big sister to everyone, but she can be selfish with her desire to be dependable. While she's more strict with the other children, she has a soft spot for her childhood friend Maria, who she has a crush on and constantly dotes over. Hikaru has a strong desire to protect her and wants to be depended on by her to the point that she's afraid of her not needing her anymore. They often play house together, where she is the father and Maria is the mother.
