Weaver's Character Analysis as an INTJ 5w4 Disclaimer: If you're about to read this, I recommended to read the book first to know more about this character. I just want to share my analysis of Weaver, the deuteragonist and dream-talent sparrow man from the Disney's Wings Series "Wings of Reverie" by Anna Bright, published on August 4, 2026. – I'll just share my thoughts on him, because his character was a great read and worth exploring with. Weaver as — INTJ 5w4 I see Weaver as an INTJ 5w4. His INTJ side comes from being quiet, analytical, independent, skeptical, and very private with his emotions. When Weaver first met Periwinkle in Chapter 3, he was already cautious and calculating in his approach on trying to gain her trust. He prefers observing and understanding things before trusting others, relies heavily on himself, and tends to express his feelings through actions and his craft rather than words. He tends to: – Keep his thoughts private and process things internally. – Observe people before deciding whether to trust them. – Analyze situations rather than immediately responding emotionally. – Work independently and prefer relying on his own abilities. – Have a clear internal understanding of what he wants to accomplish. – Express affection through actions and creation rather than emotional declarations. – Become extremely focused on a goal once he has one, even when that goal becomes unhealthy. – Have a very small circle of people he genuinely lets close. Weaver in four words(maybe?): "Leave me alone." Periwinkle enters. "...Sparkles." For his Enneagram, I think 5w4 (Investigator + Individualist) fits better than 6 which is the Loyalist or Questioner. His cynicism isn't simply rooted in fear or insecurity. It comes from his experiences, especially being isolated as someone who believed he was the last dream-talent fairy, losing Selene, and questioning why he was given a talent that seemed to separate him from everyone else. His 4 wing also explains his artistic nature, deep emotional world, sense of being different, and melancholic relationship with his past. His character arc is essentially about learning to trust, reconnecting with his sense of wonder, and realizing that he doesn't have to carry everything alone. Then comes Periwinkle, the lovely and optimistic girl who said she will "uncynic" him no matter what. She doesn't "cure" him or change his personality. She simply helps him reconsider the meaning he had given to his own experiences, while Weaver ultimately chooses to open himself up and believe in magic again. His character development from the book: "This was who he'd been meant to be all along. Not a catcher of nightmares, but a spinner of dreams. A weaver of reverie, with stories in his hands and stars in his eyes."—"He finally seen it. All the beauty and goodness she'd wanted to show him from the beginning." In short: INTJ = how he thinks and interacts with the world. 5w4 = the deeper motivation behind his independence, withdrawal, alienation, and artistic/emotional nature. Note: This is a character interpretation rather than a canon typing, since MBTI and Enneagram aren't explicitly stated in the story.
