< MATSUDA YASUKE - NI-BASE, SOCIAL 5 AND VLEF > < PART 1/2 - ILI & SO5 > Gentlemen, is with great pleasure to inform you that he is correctly typed as VLEF, so all of the 24 Psychosophy types are in Danganronpa. However I want to address his other typings, which I find wrong. Now let's address the other typings: Why RCOEN? Matsuda is someone with very strong intellectuality, decent imagination and introspective nature. Matsuda is RCOEI. Socionics & Jung: Why SLI and IT(S)? He is an irrational introvert, and I don't see why he would be a sensing type. Matsuda is a man disconnected from reality (4F) and with a deep and abstract thinking based on his visions, rather than any sensory stimulation, an IN(T), not nearly as structured and rigid as an IT, let alone as realistic as a sensing type. He cares little about the physical world and the sensing part of life, and remember y'all that IN/Ni-base is also inert and lazy. Same goes with ILI, he lives in his head, easily connects seemingly unrelated dots (His deductions, especially at the last half of DR 0), with good prediction skills and an esoteric personality. The guy from 2 years ago got it somewhat right, as he said Matsuda was in a TiNi loop, however as loops don't exist and he uses Grant (Why people still use Grant? WHY?) and confused the aux with the dom, as he is NiTi INTJ. Heck, even in plain MBTI he is still a Ni-dom! Driven by his own vision of possibilities, determined and individualistic, and in search of pioneering new roads (In this case, neurology). Now his enneagram, as the E8 voters make little sense tbh. He is 8-fixed, but no way Matsuda has lust, neither any physical impulsivity or sensory-motor dominance. Matsuda is an E5, a Social 5 to be more exact - I guess he is voted as an Sp5 because he is introverted af and is always spending time by himself, however all of E5s are like that, even the So5 is literally described as someone with "Autistic traits". PDB has this bad habit of voting every E5 as Sp, however that's not the case here. He is not the best reference of a healthy So5, quite the contrary: Matsuda is a cold and indifferent individual, with a very pessimistic attitude towards life. His avarice makes him hard to show difficulties or ask for help ("Being stingy with itself added to the minimization of its needs, leads it to endure very uncomfortable situations for a long time without resorting to any kind of help", this situation happens a lot as I already said). His totemic idealization can be seen in his very talent as the Ultimate Neurologist: The position of an elevated and knowledgeable individual, someone so good that even the Steering Committee would ask for help (He didn't search for it but it shows how strong was his intellectual influence), an idealization born by how the doctors were unable to help his mother's illness. This also makes sense as Social 5 is the most volitional E5 (I really don't think any other E5 can be high-will, so if you type yourself as Sp5 VLEF, go and give a check to your typings) and also the most openly rebellious E5. So I firmly believe that the correct typings for him are INTJ/ILI/IN(T) with So5 and RLOEI.
