More of a function of high extroversion, low consciousness, and low neuroticism than high openness/intellect imo, especially with how some of the adventurousness questions on NEO are framed. This is why other revised and newer big 5 systems like BFAS consider this facet of openness to be redundant and don’t include it. But yeah, the highly adventurous archetype is SCUxx for sure. Fearless, reckless, and bold. The type to die from being wedged upside down in a cave for 27 hours. That said, on MBTI, definitely a Se dominant type. Ne dominant types tend to be very open to new experiences too but more in line with exploring concepts and new ideas. Se doms are the most “open to experience” in the plain, literal sense, which is what NEO Adventurousness entails. And in enneagram I’d say this is more E8 and E7. E8s love physical challenges and pushing their limits, while E7s although exploratory are more conceptual and abstract than E8.
