Stoick the Vast, Chief of the Hairy Hooligans, Oh Hear His Name And Tremble, Ugh Ugh, is Hiccup's father. He is everything you'd expect out of a Viking chief: big, hairy, violent, loud, and not the sharpest sword in the armory. He doesn't really approve of his son's more peaceful, logical ways, but he does love him nonetheless.
