His brain is somewhat like a fast but inaccurate computer. Maximus talks a lot, quite often off topic, and he insanely loves comparisons and references to human culture. His actions are very unpredictable and seems more like decisions from the category of "what if I throw Mentos into a diet coke?", but, like, on the scale of villainous scientific plans. I didn't notice him having any Ni-insights about the future, or any kind of composure and structure in his behavior - everything he does is more like a crazy brainstorming, which gives me more Ne vibes. I tend to type 3 more than type 8, because this guy does not need power exactly, he needs to have what his brother has - you could even say that the younger Boltagon wants to be more noticeable and worthy against the background of the older one. As far as I remember, Maximus easily renounces his claims to the throne and Medusa when Blackagar retires. I might have forgotten some moments from the comics, so if I'm wrong somewhere, you can let me know about it.
