Although they seem to have the most crude and horrible personality, compared to Eden, Bailey and even Avery, Whitney is just a teenager, naive, simple-minded, and even only has 200HP. After seeing the PC endure so much victimization from adult perpetrators, Whitney is just a giant baby with problems in my eyes. They may have a heart, but only little. But little is enough. I'm pleased that devs let them have just this little bit of affection, otherwise they would have been an extremely boring character, just like the characters in the worst romance novels. Whitney may not just be a psychotic version of "GIAN", they may be as aware of the darkness of the world and disgusted by it as PC, but they just rush up and stomp on the puddles, laughing maniacally as they do so. edit: Well, they're getting softer and softer... I have to say that I'm fully in favor of Vrel and the other writers exploring further with Whitney's story. Maybe underneath their hard exteriors there does exist a huge soft core. But I still think they have an obvious Painful Fi. And maybe someday they could talk a bit more in the rain and reveal more of their inner world to PC. As for the e8 ENTJ views, I would say that Whitney is most likely a SLE(Se subtype) and sx8 IMO. SLEs are comfortable with hierarchies, and striving for dominance in the hierarchy. They control and influence the physical environment, are energetic and ambitious, and have a strong will and determination to achieve their goals. These behaviors make them seem to fit the stereotype of e8 ENTJs, but SLEs are not all ENTJs. Whitney will try to seek dominance in any group, fight for their place and place PC where they think appropriate. They seem to act rough, have excessive self-confidence and control, and repress their feelings, which fit well with SLE, but it's hard to state that they are ENTJ. It's hard for me to see too much Ni in Whitney's personality and behavior, they have too much Se. Their attention is always in the physical environment, rarely think about the long term implications and always act immediately - they are very impulsive. They are almost always restless and have an extremely intense energy (sx8). But in the 1% of the time, they show some Ti, articulating in their own way an understanding of the outside world. In addition, they have a clear EP temperament. So all of this makes me inclined to think they're SLE ESTP rather than any other type. BTW, I consider Eden as LSI(Se subtype), and they share a lot of similarities with Whitney, including control over the physical environment and stubborn hierarchy. Eden does resemble SLIs in some ways, but I ultimately think they are Se ego type, they are tense and aggressive, and their anti-social tendencies likely stem from that they are so So-blind. In fact they often neglect their physical condition and pay little attention to the comfort and aesthetics of environment, fight against socialization and urbanization in a very primitive and natural state. They don't like change and new things, which may indicate a vulnerable Ne, and completely disregarded it. They want emotional companionship from PC more than anything else, and become relaxed around PC. Eden has similarly expressed that they want PC to be in their rightful place. Both Whitney and Eden show a strong aggressor flavor in romantic styles. Eden (sp8) shows more defense of independent fiefdoms, concern for survival material, and desire to protect PC. They have a strong shell and soft, sensitive feelings, and of course they are certainly a competent provider, and deeply proud of it.
