Ran Haitani MBTI -Persönlichkeitstyp

Persönlichkeit

"Welcher Persönlichkeitstyp ist {profilename}? {profilename} ist ein {MBTI} -Persönlichkeitstyp in MBTI, {enneagram} - {iv} - {tritype} in EnneArgram, {big5} in Big 5, {socionics} in Socionics."

I'm going to settle this once and for all for everyone fighting in the comments. Ran is ENTJ 3w4. Firstly, there absolutely is enough information about him to be able to type him accurately. In fact, there are an incredible amount of inferences that can be made about Ran's past and personal values from the information we have about him but for the sake of accuracy I will only be using canon facts confirmed by Wakui. Yes he is Te Dom (rules out ISTP and ENTP since I saw someone vote him as that) but he uses no Si so that rules out ESTJ and ISTJ. He's for sure an Ni user. He's more innovative and ambitious than he is structured. In one of Wakui's interviews he talked about the Haitani's backstory and how Ran used to be a part of Max Maniacs (the gang that ruled Roppongi before they did) ultimately betrayed them and took them over with Rindou. He has no problems with using calculated brutality to make a statement. Most of the actions he makes are strategic moves to stand out and they all serve a purpose benefitting him. Translated quote from that interview "Max Maniacs had a huge market in Roppongi called the Rokusei Community with alumni and others, where they were involved in drug and human trafficking, fraud, and various other activities. Ran was a low-ranking member of that community, but he cheated the executives out of their money. They were so angry that they came to him, but Haitani bros fought them back." https://twitter.com/ranharuchiyo/status/1592748285584084992?s=46&t=MZu5BDmmGql92DkTA0Sw4Q (link to the interview translation and interview itself) Rindou simply followed him but Ran is the the one driving their ambition and actions. This is a clear use of Te-Ni. He had the goal of ruling Roppongi even while being a low ranked gang member, and used his Ni to create a series of steps to get to that goal. Another example of his Ni usage is in his character book page where it says he dislikes Kisaki and Hanma even though he has had seemingly no canon negative interactions with them. He is also shown to greatly value loyalty as seen with how he treats his fellow Tenjiku members and Rindou. He is shown to have great pride in himself and the capabilities of who he considered "his own" as seen in this quote. "We don't need a team, Haitiani brothers will take over Roppongi" Which is very much in line with ENTJ values. Additionally in his character book it shows him as a socially introverted and apathetic person, but he is aware how to use charisma as a tool to get what he wants, (whether that be manpower or admiration, etc). He does not ever appear to care about interpersonal dynamics and social harmony. He does not seek to understand or connect with others and you can clearly see that with how he acts most of the time when he is not actively fighting. This rules out him being an Fe user. He is not ENFJ, ESFJ, or INFJ. As for his enneagram he's definitely 3w4. I'm not sure why people are voting him as 8w9 but there are so many clear examples of him being a 3. He is vain and clearly very conscious of his appearance and public perception of him and his brother. His special skill in his character book is literally crafting a favorable image for himself. He's charismatic, and he's indifferent about using underhanded strategies to take out his opponents and meet his goal. In his character book it says his dream is to be an International celebrity. He has shown himself repeatedly throughout the series as someone who enjoys being admired and being in the spotlight, however something people seem to miss is that whenever he has been in the spotlight it has always been in a way that is orchestrated by him. The reason he is a 3w4 instead of 3w2 is because again he has never seemed to care about being the best at serving others. Both him and rind's entire image and character revolves around wanting to stand out and make a name for themselves in a way that reflects their individuality. They, especially Ran, almost treat the Haitiani name like a brand, and the way they join gangs after making certain agreements to benefit them is pretty much ran (haha) like a business. Ran is literally a textbook 3w4 and I'm shocked that there is even a debate about his enneagram. In conclusion, Ran is definitely ENTJ 3w4 and it is quite literally the only mbti and enneagram combination that accurately fits him. I'm begging you all to stop typing off letters or stereotypes Being charismatic doesnt automatically mean ENFJ Being efficient or ambitious doesn't automatically mean ESTJ/ISTJ Being introverted and apathetic doesn't automatically mean ISTP Being a tease or playful doesn't automatically mean ENTP If you aren't familiar with cognitive functions don't vote until you do some research because that's how we end up with mistypes.

Biografie

Ran frequently resorts to underhanded tactics in battle by way of his baton or any weapon that can cause injury and guarantee his win. Ran has never been known to have fought fairly and justifies this furtive approach as a means of bagging victory against much stronger opponents. He is naturally whimsical toward others which makes him inscrutable; he is also independent in his own right and only holds regard for his younger brother who he used to govern the district of Roppongi with other than Izana Kurokawa and Kakucho who he once served under in Tenjiku. This shows the limitations of Ran’s obedience and respect, for he and his brother as a collective duo were widely known for their supreme authority in Roppongi for the majority of their childhood, hence his nescience in shouldering orders from a superior and complying to them.
