I just love that, and i am a Film Director, i use all i have learned with others views and methods (TE) to organizate the things to stay together harmonic and confluing to the same direction, i made RPG system and its all about find a quintessence and the corrects equation to solute, and when it happens, the solution is never a linear thing, its all about writing with tools, and thar for me is when INTJ do the Best with álgebra, INTPs will explorate a lot of ways and not exclude a possibility but try to see how its works for construct its own form and own methods, its not about that for me, i dont wanna have a new way to solve, but a new and personal reason to do that.
