With only 8 years until the asteroid struck and wiped out all life on Earth, humanity made plans to evacuate the entire planet to a new habitable world using recently discovered wormhole technology. However, when the news was revealed to the general public, many old conflicts were renewed as nations fought bloody wars with each other to get access to the new world that humanity had discovered, exacerbated by the new wormhole technology.
