Diogo Briso Mainardi (São Paulo, September 22, 1962) is a Brazilian writer, producer, screenwriter and columnist. In recent years, it has become a household name in Brazil, mainly due to its weekly column in VEJA Magazine, where he wrote critiques of Brazilian society and political trends in general. He is a constant critic of leftist governments, in particular the government of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, about whom he wrote the book Lula Is My Tapir, which collects a collection of chronicles about the monthly scandal published by the author on VEJA.
