Dolly Dalmatian MBTI Personality Type
Personality
What personality type is Dolly Dalmatian? Dolly Dalmatian is an ESTP personality type in MBTI, 7w8 - SX7 - 738 in Enneagram, SLUAI in Big 5, in Socionics.
Dolly Dalmatian is a Se-Ti user, or ESTP for the lesser-initiated, here is my reasoning for why. (Spoilers ahead for some episodes, and also expect some errors to be made, since I haven't seen the series in a while, and I am doing it from memory.) Dominant Se - Extroverted Sensing Dolly is by all means, a thrill seeker. She is constantly skating around on her skateboard, and even if she isn't on it, she tends to play a lot of physical activities with her siblings. She doesn't have much fondness for overtly abstract things, instead preferring to do things in a hands-on (or paws-on in her case) way. There are just way too many examples that show her Se in action, but if I had to pick just one, a pretty good example is in the episode Poodlefall, where she procrastinates from playing the board game Poodlewolf with Dylan, Dawkins and Hansel, wanting to goof around instead. Auxiliary Ti - Introverted Thinking Dolly's thinking skills are very good. Granted, she may not use them as often as she should, but they're still there. There are a few distinct examples of her Ti in action, such as in Dal-Martians, where she makes a plan with Dawkins' help to pull an elaborate prank on Dylan. In The Dog House, Dolly creates a human disguise for the pups to hide in, in the special The Nose Job, she schemes with her siblings to break Diesel out of jail, and in Ride Along, she and Pearl investigate a thievery, marking Constantin as a suspect first, before figuring out that it was Chips that committed the crime. Tertiary Fe - Extroverted Feeling For better or worse, Dolly's Fe is insanely strong. In Walkies on the Wild Side, she attempts to calm the pups down during the thunder storm, even singing a rhyme. In Dotty Dancing, at Portia's not-party, Dolly decides to intentionally dance terribly, so that Dylan doesn't have to eat cat furballs, as that is what the worst dancer would be forced to eat. In Winter Funderland, when the pups are disappointed that the snow didn't arrive on the next day like she told it would, she goes out of the way to turn off 101 Dalmatian Street's temperature regulation to create a winter-like setting inside the house, to cheer them up. She also uses her Fe as a weapon, like in Power to the Puppies, she begs Diesel to let her take charge of the household, and uses the same trick to beg Pearl to let her join the police as a cadet in Ride Along. Inferior Ni - Introverted Intuition I don't recall seeing too much Ni usage by Dolly, probably also because I find introverted perceiving functions in general to be the hardest to wrap my head around, but if I was going to name any stand out examples, I would say that in Fear Window, the whole episode is her becoming paranoid about Clarissa, when she spied on the latter, seeing her throw out what looks like Hugo's hair sticking out of a garbage bag, which leads her to presume that Clarissa had murdered Hugo and threw out his remains.
