𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒏𝒐𝒓 𝒊𝒔 𝒔𝒙9 my main problem with him being any heart type is that he doesn’t have any pride or attachment to a self-less, grandiose image like an e2, nor does he go out of his way to help others as a way to cope with his insecurity and love-need. so4 doesn’t work either because he doesn’t attach his identity to shame, he copes by self-erasure, trying to blend in and be “normal”, basically disappearing. described in the e9 description, the e9 merges and forgets the self due to feeling like their real self is inadequate. this is connor, he doesn’t like himself at all, he sees himself as “weird” and “effeminate”, believing that if he doesn’t suppress himself he will burden or annoy others, so he forgets himself to avoid abandonment and rejection; the core of sx9 neurosis.
Biography
Connor is constantly seeking approval from other people and avoiding making them upset. He tries to act more “masculine” in order to not be bullied again and constantly suppresses his emotions to not be mocked. He is anxious about standing up for himself due to abuse and afraid of being bullied due to teasing in his early childhood. He is going through a “fawn response,” which is a trauma response that causes people to seek approval and avoid conflict and upsetting others due to trauma or abuse. Despite all of this, Connor has a deep desire for freedom and has a childlike innocence, wonder, and imagination that he hides out of fear of rejection. He is socially anxious yet socially naive. Connor was raised in an environment where he was manipulated (threatened, guilt-tripped, gaslit, etc.) constantly and belittled all the time. His mother is so controlling and power-seeking, if he even speaks up for himself it results in threats and even physical abuse at times. He is from Brazil 🇧🇷.
