Casey Newton MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Casey Newton? Casey Newton is an ENFP personality type in MBTI, 3w2 - so/sp - 387 in Enneagram, SCOAI in Big 5, IEE in Socionics.

Casey Newton [ENFP] Extroverted Intuition (Ne) Casey is a self-described optimist, who believes you can change the future in whichever way you want—and that’s what she does, once she starts accessing Tomorrowland. She is so excited to encounter the pin that allows her to see into a different reality, that she goes to great lengths to further explore it, desperate to get there and out of her own life. When the pin “loses power” and shuts down, she becomes very angry and frustrated, because it means her exploration of new possibilities is terminated. She gets on Frank for his pessimistic attitude. Once in Tomorrowland, her excitement over so many new things all at once is infectious. Introverted Feeling (Fi) Frank’s pessimistic attitude does nothing to change her opinion of Tomorrowland. Other people telling her that the future is inevitable matters little to her; Casey trusts her own beliefs, ideas, and impressions to move her forward. She doesn’t talk about what she’s doing, where she’s going, or how she feels about anything that is happening; she reacts to it, hides it behind funny jokes (“If I were doing that, it would be a poor example to my little brother…”), and generally marches to the beat of her own drum. She tends to believe the best in others, every time. Extroverted Thinking (Te) She has her mind blown in Frank’s house, where she gets a look at his numerous inventions. She trusts him to think creatively, and instead chooses the quickest route to get what she wants. Her decision to ride her bike to an enormous empty field, where she can explore the second reality without bumping into walls, is a logical one. Her reasoning is often sound; if she can save the landing, she can save her dad’s job. Introverted Sensing (Si) Her only tie to the past is her father’s red cap, but at the end of the film, Casey uses tried and true methods of recruiting “the dreamers” (sending out childlike robots, to drop off pins, to excite intuitive imaginations) in honor of Athena, and tells them to live up to her.
