I always thought Kwan was an introverted intuitive because she was less affected by her environment and more by her inner feelings. She came alive during her performances and could internalize the energy of the crowd, but outside of the rink, she was more of an introspective type who would speak more about her inner feelings. She also had to skate as herself and her style was much more drawing you into her as opposed to her performing out. If you compared her to some of her more extroverted-sensing rivals, you would see a huge difference in how they skated and how Kwan skated. She also had a way of always trying to philosophize everything as well.

Michelle Wingshan Kwan is a retired American figure skater. She is a two-time Olympic medalist, a five-time World champion and a nine-time U.S. champion. She is tied with Maribel Vinson for the all-time National Championship record.
