What personality type is Dainsleif? Dainsleif is an INTJ personality type in MBTI, 6w5 - so/sp - 614 in Enneagram, RCOEI in Big 5, LSI in Socionics.
Ni > Si Dainsleif is knowledgeable about the past and very connected with it but some arguments seem to be mistaking his external connection to history for Si. Introverted sensing is perception filtered through a subjective lens shaped by memory and past experience. The way Dain appears to think and process information seems like Ni -- he views things more objectively and on how the present will shape the future. An example is his response to the interaction with Kaeya in Caribert. He doesn't trust Kaeya because he "still does not know him well. It would be meaningless to jump to conclusions." A more Si distrust might come from Kaeya's connections to the Abyss Order's founder, which Dain is bound to have negative association with. And while next line is "but can a person truly be unaffected by their ancestry? This remains to be seen." I think this is why Dain's page is so polarized; not only is his character so tied to Khaenri'ah and our info on the past, but he'll often display Ni then follow by bringing up the how history played out. But I think these still tend to show Ni in how he questions the concepts prevalent in this world, not how they manifested in the past, nor his own subjective experience with them. Another example of this is his view on the gods and archons in We Will Be Reunited. Yes, he takes into account the failures of history when making decisions but that's not inherently Si, thats just information. Even when he's recalling the past, it's always more objective memory (where, who, what happened, etc. not his personal experience or how he was affected). Biography
Dainsleif is an upcoming playable character in Genshin Impact. He is the featured character for Chapter ? of the Teyvat Chapter Storyline, which focuses on the lost kingdom of Khaenri'ah. He is also featured in a World Quest titled “Bough Keeper: Dainsleif”. In Chapter I: Act IV - Prelude of Bough Keeper: Dainsleif, he offers to accept future commissions related to the Abyss Order from the Traveler wherein he and the Traveler go on a quest to track down an Abyss Herald, a creature capable of manipulating intense abyssal energy from the Abyss Order.
