Personality
What personality type is Iphigenia? Iphigenia is an INFJ personality type in MBTI, 4w5 - - in Enneagram, in Big 5, in Socionics.
ISFP? Iphigenia is about Fe values, wanting to be a savior of greek people, specially the women. She is very attached to abstract concepts too, her own acceptance of death was motivated by those concepts, seeing the world throught big picture lenses. A clear 3 btw. Iphigenia wanted so much to be worthy and valuable that was willing to die for it, but unlike social or sexual 3s she isn't exactly vain and can be considered humble, despite that, we can see some conection with vanity and pride in her wish to be remembered.
Biography
Iphigenia (/ɪfɪˈdʒɪ.nɪə/; Ancient Greek: Ἰφιγένεια, romanized: Iphigéneia, pronounced [iːpʰiɡéneː.a]) was a daughter of King Agamemnon and Queen Clytemnestra, and thus a princess of Mycenae. In the story, Agamemnon offends the goddess Artemis on his way to the Trojan War by hunting and killing one of Artemis's sacred stags. She retaliates by preventing the Greek troops from reaching Troy unless Agamemnon sacrifices his eldest daughter, Iphigenia, at Aulis as a human sacrifice. In some versions, Iphigenia is killed at Aulis, and in others, Artemis rescues her. In the version where she is saved, she goes to the Taurians and meets her brother Orestes. "Iphigenia" means "strong-born," "born to strength," or "she who causes the birth of strong offspring."
