What personality type is Captain Hook? Captain Hook is an ENTP personality type in MBTI, 8w7 - sp/so - 873 in Enneagram, in Big 5, SLE in Socionics.
Ok he definitely is ENTP in my humble opinion, everyone here reducing his character to “drama” is a shallow take. I can see the ENTP in him, at first I was leaning more to ENTJ, but he definitely is most critical when using his words and logicality than actual command. Contrary to popular belief here, I believe he is a 347 tritype. He is highly image-conscious, success-oriented, and creative (yet manipulative). He screams 4w3 to me, he highly wants to think he is aristocratic in his ways, but in reality he is a very emotional, lonely man who is a walking contradiction. I don’t necessarily think his only goal is just to kill Pan, considering the movie is trying to be accurate to the book with some liberties, I will assume here (and it is implied many times in the movie) that his goals stem to maintaining what he believes fits his Victorian morality and sense of self, even if it costs the safety and trust of others around him. He isn’t just a dumb pirate either obviously, he is kinda Shakespearean in a way if you look at him from a certain supporting angle. He is a educated, philosophical, gentleman. DEFINITELY Lawful Evil without a damn doubt in my mind. ENTP 4w3 347. Heavy Ne dom. HEAVY Si inferior. I may get clowned because this seems like a contradictory evaluation, but Hook is very contradictory within himself.
