Biography
Anubias was an antagonist in Bakugan: Mechtanium Surge and an artificial being created in the likeness of a Gundalian by Mag Mel to serve him. To this end, he antagonizes Dan Kuso in Bakugan Interspace and gains a following in Team Anubias. Although he comes to view Dan as a rival and grows obsessed with defeating him, he never has a chance to truly do so, as his powers are ultimately reabsorbed by Mag Mel and he ceases to exist. He was a Darkus brawler, and his Partner Bakugan was Darkus Horridian. Anubias is a fierce, brutal and extremely competitive brawler willing to fight at any challenge and will use any means necessary to win a battle. While not entirely a bad person, he looks down on those with weakness or excuses. Unlike his partner, Sellon, he seems to care more for his team than she does. He gave Noah his partner Bakugan to use for extra skills showing that he cared for Noah with a student-teacher bond.
