What personality type is Fear? Fear is an ISFJ personality type in MBTI, 6w5 - sp/so - 694 in Enneagram, RLOAN in Big 5, EII in Socionics.
I know pretty much everyone agrees on ISFJ, but I just thought of something. I was thinking about how well this movie could be used to depict mental disorders and trauma (I am studying psychology in the hopes of becoming a clinical child psychologist) and I realized that Fear definitely uses Ne, but in the cases of anxiety. Joy knows how to use the strengths of each character to prepare for the worst-case scenarios that could possibly happen to Riley. Her goal is to keep Riley happy and she hyper-focused on that while motivating the other emotions to keep in line with her goal (Fe+Ni). With Fear, she knows he is extremely capable of dreaming up the worst-case scenarios for Riley and keeping all of those in consideration to solve (Ne). If Fear had Ni, he would be more likely to think of the most likely terrible outcome and work towards preventing that.
