One fast example is when he met with Scorpio the bounty hunter and figured out immediately after their short battle that he was lying about Blackbeard,that's Se(dom)+Ti(aux) right here.Also when he analysed Blackbeard's power after seeing it,another Se+Ti combo. His Ni inf showed very much when he was a kid where he would pick random fights with pirates and not considering that he may get hurt,or when he wanted to go kill the celestial dragon who shot Sabo. The reason I wouldn't pick ISTP for him is that his Fe is not inferior, it was just underdevelopped but with the help of Makino he developped it pretty well as he was growing up.His Fe showed when he met with Luffy's crewmembers.And his Fe is actually what matured him as a person so it's definitely his tert function.

Portgas D. Ace was a member of the Whitebeard pirates who wielded the power of Mera Mera no Mi. He was the son of the Pirate King Gol D. Roger and also the adoptive older brother of Monkey D. Luffy.
