What personality type is Harvey? Harvey is an ENTP personality type in MBTI, 9w8 - sp/so - in Enneagram, in Big 5, in Socionics.
Just read all the stories from the new game Servant of the Lake. ENTP ESFJ both make sense, he should be an extrovert with Ne-Si Fe-Ti. Although there has been not a single depiction on Harvey’s inner thoughts or psychological activities in the entire series, I still prefer ENTP a bit. I cannot tell from the new game whether he helps the Vanderboom family is because of Fe-Si (that he really aims to do his best as a servant and save everyone no matter whom) or Ne-Ti (that he actually loves to seek out the secrets of the lake and tries to get benefits from it). But one thing for sure is that he doesn’t work for any single person or have any standpoint. Through him flying across every possible corner of Rusty Lake and appearing in every event of the story, I feel like this guy is driven by his pure curiosity. He works for Mr.Owl and Mr.Crow may not just for having a stable job or helping his boss, but might also due to his own interests to the lake (e.g. the fate of the Vanderboom family, how Laura’s life will be, how Dale is gonna solve the case, what the mystery of Rusty Lake is). He has no loyalty or stability to anyone (as said by the two Vanderboom brothers in the new game), hence Si inferior in my eyes. Also another thing I notice from the new game is that Harvey’s Ne is very strong even in the Rusty Lake universe, because he has the ability to find all the weird ways for solving his masters’ demands, thus can stay as the servant of the lake without being easily replaced; even the Vanderbooms are surprised about him and started to like him.
Biography
Harvey is a recurring character in the Rusty Lake series, appearing in several of the games, and stars in two as the player character. She is a grey parrot initially seen as a caged pet, but later appears as a free bird.
