Aaron Swartz MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Aaron Swartz? Aaron Swartz is an INTP personality type in MBTI, 5w4 - so/sx - 512 in Enneagram, RLUAI in Big 5, ILE in Socionics.

"When I was a kid, I thought a lot about what made me different from the other kids. I don't think I was smarter than them and I certainly wasn't more talented. And I definitely can't claim I was a harder worker – I've never worked particularly hard, I've always just tried doing things I find fun. Instead, what I concluded was that I was more curious – but not because I had been born that way. If you watch little kids, they are intensely curious, always exploring and trying to figure out how things work. The problem is that school drives all that curiosity out. Instead of letting you explore things for yourself, it tells you that you have to read these particular books and answer these particular questions. And if you try to do something else instead, you'll get in trouble. Very few people's curiosity can survive that. But, due to some accident, mine did. I kept being curious and just followed my curiosity." -Aaron Swartz His Ti and Ne is very obvious in all his writings, his primary motivator for doing something is his curiosity (Ne) and he's also great at analyzing and understanding complex systems in a very unbiased way (Ti). So him being an XNTP is pretty obvious. But I fail to see Si inferior in him, he's a very systematic person and doesn't shy away going in depth into a subject and understanding it thoroughly before attempting to reform it, it doesn't seem to be a problem for him which usually correlates with balanced Ne-Si (not that ENTPs can't, it just takes a lot more effort to keep their interest.) Even for a type 5 ENTP their Ne being stronger is still obvious, but Aaron seems to show stronger use of Ti - Si. "Aaron approached politics like he approached technology. His method was as follows – (1) Learn (2) Try (3) Gab (4) Build. He was methodical about his work, and his approach to life – this essay on procrastination will give you a good window into his mind. Aaron liked to “lean in” to difficult problems, work at them until he could break them down and solve them. He had no illusions about politics, which is why he eventually became so good at it. He didn’t disdain the political process the way so many choose to, but he also didn’t engage in flowery lazy thoughts about the glory of checks and balances. He broke politics down and systematically attempted to understand the system. Aaron learned, tried, gabbed, and then built." From what I read about him so far he seemed like a typical INTP (unlike the cringey and inaccurate stereotypes INTP gets) and a so dom. Let's not forget that both XNTPs are very curious about learning and that most INTPs aren't emotionless husk of a person who couldn't care less about fairness and people over their love for science™ - if anything its the opposite , INTPs care a great deal about honesty and fairness and wouldn't want to censor people. This article provides some great information on him: https://www.nakedcapitalism.com/2013/01/aaron-swartzs-politics.html ENTP is likely but nothing really rules out INTP either from what I read about him so far.
