What personality type is Shinobu Oshino? Shinobu Oshino is an ENTJ personality type in MBTI, 8w7 - sx/sp - 873 in Enneagram, SLUEN in Big 5, SLE in Socionics.
ENTJ (Te-Ni-Se-Fi), she rather die than becoming weak, power oriented, achieving practical results, shows primary Te and enneagram type 8. One example of Ni shows in the Kizu movies, her ultimate goal was to make Araragi kill herself. Plan with hidden intentions. Araragi was deceived all along, and Shinobu never told him. ENTJs are acutally more caring free than many people thought, with secondary Ni and tetriary Se, knowing what's necessary or not, they could be fun and playful too. The way she brought herself and Araragi to alternate timeline without thinking deeper into consequences and the way to return, shows that Te taking initiative first, with Ni supporting rather than primary, sometimes she act first (Te) than predicting the future. if she were an INTJ (Ni-Te-Fi-Se) she would more induldged in her goals. Focuses more on inner vision before acting (primary Ni). More serious compare to ENTJs. For examples Senjougahara and Kaiki are INTJs. if she were an ESFP (Se-Fi-Te-Ni) she would be more fun/feeling oriented (Se-Fi), more playful, caring free. Seriousness would be a more rare moments. Acts first before thinking (primary Se). For examples Kanbaru and Karen are ESFPs. For inferior Fi (ExTJs) expressing inner senstive emotions would be a rarer moment. In the end of Shinobu Mail, when Seishirou (Shinobu's first kin) faded away, Shinobu finally expressed her hidden senstive emotions. Being an extroverted type in MBTI doesn't mean if you speak more or less, it's more the matter how your brain functions and how you view the world. Of course other interperations holds valid points too. Overall, Shinobu's cognitive function patterns are more consistent with ENTJ than with the alternative types! :)
Biography
Shinobu Oshino (忍野 忍, Oshino Shinobu) is a mysterious vampire girl who acts as Meme Oshino's companion in the ruins of Eikou Cram School. Later in the series, she resides in Koyomi Araragi's shadow during the day. She was formerly a human child princess named Rola (likely meant to be Laura in English) who was cursed into causing anyone in proximity to her to commit suicide. She then took the name of Acerola before meeting a purebred vampire that turned her into a powerful vampire named Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade (キスショット・アセロラオリオン・ハートアンダーブレード, Kisushotto Aseroraorion Hātoandāburēdo). She now takes the form of an eight-year-old girl with another new name after losing most of her powers. #MaayaSakamoto
