What personality type is Hong Ye-seong? Hong Ye-seong is an ENFP personality type in MBTI, 7w6 - - 279 in Enneagram, in Big 5, in Socionics.
After finishing the novel, I am still pretty convinced he is an ENFP. He is greatly guided by NE. As someone stated below, he is guided primarly by 2 things: - his desire for novely - the boredom from which he wants to escape “I have so many ideas in my head right now. Will you take responsibility of these ideas if I die?” Not saying that others MBTI can't do that, but this is a pattern for all the story. He is someone considered a genius, a "unconventional genius" should I say. A reason why he is not so special because of his powers as S Grade, but because of his ideas. He doesn't dwell on what is real, but in what ifs. You can also see it in the way he creates new scenarios / places. He has a very strong Ne-Fi approach to the world. I can't see the use of SeFi at all. I really like this definition: "Se is about experiencing, and Ne is about playing. What this means is basically Se is more content to simply just respond to its environment. It prefers not to think much about abstract things such as theory and the future, and prefers to just stick to experiencing the sensations around them and using what’s already there. It is pretty developed. This is why I like him. Because in fiction most of the time ENFP are written just as goofy balls, but are actually between the smartest characters. As an ENFP myself, my Te is very developed and I am also very logical. So I tend to despise how unrealistic most of the time are. So I think it's well represented. He is not just a "comical" character, but he is also smart in a unconventional way.
