The scene where he talks with Mister Thatcher at the Inquirer, his campain promises, all indicates a Social 8: he's always thinking about who has the power and he wants to do justice to the "decent hard-working people", for them to not be ****** by the "money-mad pirates". He wants power over people because he expects them to love him back. Now that's my argument for Social 8, in the other hand he have a Sexual 8. Susan Kane became his little experiment, his little puppet to control. This manipulation would fit better with the description of "wanting control" in Beatrice Chestnut's The Complete Enneagram: Sexual Eights express lust through rebellion and the need to possess everyone’s attention. Sexual Eights are intense, charismatic characters who want to have control and influence. They try to get power over things and people. The name “Possession” refers to an energetic takeover of the whole scene—a need to feel powerful through dominating the whole environment. For now I think the Sexual 8 fits better with his late years and actual unconscious behavior. "People will think what I tell them to think". That's his character, a sort of 8 who never knew how to connect with others. He wanted to do something for others in the only way he knew: taking charge.
