Even when his methods were questionable he was very selfless towards Juri & I love that. Whether he stands by the ideal of the prince is kinda hard to decide for me, he seems to have chosen to get involve in anything at all is ultimately for his grand plan of freeing juri from her own prison, out of love. Yes i do wish hed choose another less extreme methods since he loves her anyways, and wouldnt it be better if he could at least say the word 'i love you' to her face before he died even when he knew she wouldnt reciprocate anyways(its still less harmful to juri's perception of him than his actual methods tho) but alas, would his true wishes have even reached her thick skulls had he not been so extreme? had he not been so 'cruel'? had he not made her feel so utterly disgusted & provoked that she agreed to go along w his plan just to see that shes the one thats wrong? I do believe juri started her journey of defeating the prison that chains her precisely bc she simply started w only wanted to prove to ruka that shes right.
Biography
The sickly former captain of the fencing club, he returns briefly during the Akio Arc to stir up trouble with Shiori and Juri. His motives appear to be genuinely good; with time ticking away for him, his manipulative efforts are focused on liberating Juri from the bonds of her own making. Whether that's true or not is left to us...prince, or villain, it's hard to say.
