What personality type is Xiumin (EXO)? Xiumin (EXO) is an ISTJ personality type in MBTI, 6w5 - sp/so - 612 in Enneagram, RCOEN in Big 5, SLI in Socionics.
he's finally an ISTJ here! he's always been Te > Fe, in a very stereotypical way too. he's always result-oriented, from the way he pursued his PhD, the way he volunteered to be in one of the toughest units in the military (near the demilitarized zone), the way he enjoys many sports and excels in the ones he really cares about, such as soccer and even tennis, which is all with an added touch of Fi "I'm doing this well because I like this". to me, he is the most intriguing EXO member because, at first glance, he seems kind of shy, like back in the early EXO days. he held back a lot of himself, probably because he only enjoyed a certain type of spotlight, but almost 9 years later and he's opened up like a beautiful flower (yeah, i know this is cheesy, but it's true). he's improved a ton as an artist and a person, such as when he held XIUWEET TIME just to make fans happy before he left for the military, and now takes part in multiple variety shows and seems to truly be enjoying the company of his fellow co-stars. he was always my ultimate bias, my main man in EXO, and while my interests have changed over the past five years, i still keep a lookout for updates about him and the rest of the EXOs because they just seem... different. in a refreshing way. edit: it seems like he took the 16personalities test and got ISFJ-T. i'm not going to change my vote anytime soon because i still think ISTJ is a better fit than ISFJ. also, since he's a pretty balanced ISTJ with seemingly healthy function use, he may also seem like other types, which is why he was typed as an ISFJ forever on here. to anyone on here that's new to personality-typing, the myers-briggs type indicator (MBTI) model that people on here follow to type others is very different from the model that 16personalities follows. they use the big-5/OCEAN model of personality typing and then sell it off as the 16 personalities MBTI model, which it isn't, even if it is a scientifically proven method. the main difference for anyone who doesn't want to delve into the details is that while the OCEAN model is dynamic (and can change for an individual at any given time), a person's MBTI personality type is static throughout their life and does not change. another thing to note is that you shouldn't type someone on basis of stereotypes (eg: "oh, this person is witty, intelligent, dorky and an introvert, so they must be an INTP!" or "hmmm this person is very neat and organized, but also kind of cold and doesn't really talk to people so they must be an ISTJ!") at the end of the day, i did extensive research on MBTI personality types and typing others effectively a while ago and i'm using that knowledge to type xiumin, but since i did this a while ago, there may be some gaps in my knowledge in comparison to someone who's got newer, but fresher knowledge on this topic, so feel free to debate with me in the comments! if i have more time later, i might add more information to this comment or create a thread.

Kim Minseok (김민석; born March 26, 1990), better known by his stage name Xiumin (시우민), is a South Korean singer and actor under SM Entertainment. He is a member of the boy group EXO and their sub-units EXO-M and EXO-CBX. He made his solo debut on September 26, 2022 with his first extended play "Brand New".
