What personality type is Ryu? Ryu is an ISFP personality type in MBTI, 1w9 - sp/so - 152 in Enneagram, RCOAN in Big 5, ESI in Socionics.
Yeah, only for the fact that he motives people to train harder it's high Ni, and the fact that he follows the warrior's way. Funny to think that. He lacks of auxiliar Fe, he has strong use of Se and his Ti is non existent. Fi>Ni is the way how a character travel around the world understanding how also warrior's way going on, he train's everyday to get stronger at any cost, finding a balance on his spirit. He wouldn't train sakura because he didn't feel stronger to teach her, saying that she should find her way. Unlike ken, he doesn't feel winning a competition (world warrior) gives him something, only an opportunity to fight against the most strongest fighters in the world -at the moment- This warrior's way guides to him to train with Oro, the most strongest thing on SF universe. By understand the path to self-understanding through a purpose is common in some ISFP. Zuko (Avatar) is the best example. 1sp/so in my my opinion. Searching for balancing his life with his inner demons and enemies around him, being a person with a duty to attain enlightenment, and his impeccable training. Wing 9 is usually more reflective and philosophical, it also makes sense on that side.
