What personality type is Naoya? Naoya is an INTJ personality type in MBTI, 1w9 - sx/sp - 415 in Enneagram, RLOEI in Big 5, IEI in Socionics.
I think Naoya is type 1 over type 8. It's made more obvious when you play his route - he basically spends the entire game almost trying to convert you (to his way of thinking) and basically gives up/becomes uncharacteristically melancholic if you choose to side against him. Furthermore, his vocal criticism of YHVH is strictly a moral one - even though the true reason is completely personal, his justifications always lean towards the excuse of "God is evil, thus the right thing for us to do is to oppose him". This seems most like the behavior of an sx 1. I can see arguments for type 8 in Overclocked making sense though (particularly his dialogue with Okuninushi) but this could also be explained by a 2 wing.
Biography
The hero's twenty-four year old cousin and brother figure, and a genius programmer. Gave the hero and his friends their COMPs shortly before the plot hit Tokyo; his motives for doing so are shrouded in mystery.
