What personality type is Ivy Robinson? Ivy Robinson is an personality type in MBTI, 7w6 - sx/so - in Enneagram, SLUEN in Big 5, EIE in Socionics.
This is a minority opinion, not by a lot, but I'd go with ESFP. Ivy's thinking-feeling seems like Fi-Te fits. Her judgement on what to do with the baby is based on her own morals about abortion, and she clearly has feelings of her own on it, but she has no idea which decision to take or how to go about achieving her goals and appeals to authority figures in her life to help her decide ("follow someone else's vision, or trust my own cause I don't know" and "someone out there call my mother, look at me, I'm all grown up"). However, she's still able to decide on how to achieve minor goals like sleeping with Jason which suggests while her Te is there, it is inferior or at most tertiary. Also, during All Grown Up, she takes an aside to assess how she feels about Jason and her place in the world now which is pretty typically aux Fi. Her sensing-intuition is more complicated. She shows pretty strong Se in that she clearly seeks out sensory experiences like sex and drinking. She wants to experience the world while she's young. Her lack of safety the night where she does have sex with Jason, and her inability to learn from her past mistakes with guys suggests Si is not in those top 4. I have to admit I'm not sure about her intuition, but reading about inferior Ni it seems fitting. Not planning for the future when she has sex, and she doesn't overanalyze any social situation too much such as how Jason acts distantly towards her. I think dom Se and inf Ni is pretty obvious in the stacking, which leaves aux Fi and tert Te. ESFP seems accurate. Ennea-wise 7w6 seems fair due to her chasing happiness in sex but has anyone considered if she's a 3? I won't vote on that for now.
