It's funny how every time people see a genius woman they automatically think of INTJ. Never mind that. I wanna give my argument about why she's INTP not INTJ ✏ where's her Ni? Or Te? Yes she's logical yes she's open minded but there are no evidence for NiTe ✏ she literally had ONE interest in her whole life which was math. Since the time she discovered it until her death she was curious about everything related to math. Literally everything about it. Math olympiad, Math university, Math professor, Math awards math math and math. She chose one single option to think deeply about (Ti) and then *explored* everything about it (Ne). She was famous for the way she solved the problem, she would see and try every single possibility and she delved deep into them until she finds the solution. Like those kinds of scientists who say "let's see where this goes and what we'll find out". An INTJ is not like this; okay at least they're not like this MOST OF THE TIMES. INTJs often work more systematically than INTPs and Ne users. I'm genuinely not stereotyping lol believe me. ✏ Maryam's desire to do math was pure TiNe. She studied math just for the sake of studying math. Just because she was interested and liked it. Nothing ambitious nor future and goal-oriented view of NiTe. ✏ if you watched her documentary, there was a part in it when someone close to her explains: "she was a private person. even though we were friends for years, she never talked once about her political, religious, or other things beliefs and views.." Are you sure the person this guy is referring to is a TeFi user??? Te + Fi in axis forms very strong moral and logical beliefs and values. And these people often want to express their opinion on the topic they're talking about. They want to explain their logic, why something is important to them, or why a particular thing is immoral/moral, Logical/illogical. Let alone if they are talking with their CLOSE FRIENDS. It just doesn't make sense. Ti users are the ones who often want to keep their logic and thoughts to themselves and keep them subjective without the need to explain them to other people. Yes there are a lot of INTPs who are vocal about their opinion and are professional debaters lol I love them. But the thing I said ""usually"" is accurate for Ti doms. So I think she's more like an INTP. That's just my opinion.
Biography
Maryam Mirzakhani (12 May 1977 – 14 July 2017) was an Iranian mathematician and a professor of mathematics at Stanford University. Her research topics included Teichmüller theory, hyperbolic geometry, ergodic theory, and symplectic geometry. In 2005, as a result of her research, she was honored in Popular Science's fourth annual "Brilliant 10" in which she was acknowledged as one of the top 10 young minds who have pushed their fields in innovative directions. On 13 August 2014, Mirzakhani was honored with the Fields Medal, the most prestigious award in mathematics.
