Lucilius MBTI Personality Type
Personality
What personality type is Lucilius? Lucilius is an INTJ personality type in MBTI, 5w6 - sp/sx - in Enneagram, RCOEI in Big 5, LII in Socionics.
INTJ 1w9 sp/sx ILI melancholic-choleric RCOEI unhealthy type 1 Lucilius being a 1w9 is a better choice to me. E1 accounts for his rigid convictions, uncompromising judgments, and inability to accept what he perceives as fundamentally wrong, while 9 wing helps explain his withdrawn / detached / emotionally restrained presentation of self. His perfectionism does not have to manifest as conventional morality or a desire to improve society. He is still an E1. Nihilism does not immediately make him an E5. I genuinely think people on here do not remember Nihilism is a philosophical position and not an Enneagram type and even if E5 is seen as skeptic nihilistic in a lot of character readings as well as how people see the type itself nihilism can still apply to any type in its own way because personalities are not black and white. It also lets you read characters deeper when you stop limiting yourself to skeptic / cynicism / nihilism = E5 etcetc. An individual can reject the value of existence for very different psychological reasons and his nihilism can be read as the culmination of his judgment of creation and rooting back to his own shortcomings. His rejection of the world is not necessarily an attempt to be hateful. He does not just dislike the world. He is deeply resentful of its foundation. Lucilius's characterization is more consistent with ILI because his intellect is directed toward an overarching interpretation of creation and the consequences he believes follow from it. He does not merely analyze the internal logic of systems as an end in itself he develops a comprehensive worldview and uses his knowledge to pursue a specific outcome. His understanding of existence is tied to a broader vision of its nature, limitations and ultimate fate which aligns more closely with Ni than with Ti as a dominant function. So ILI over LII. His worldview is built around a fundamental judgment of existence itself and his nihilism can be interpreted as an extreme manifestation of perfectionism. Instead of merely observing the world's flaws, he regards them as grounds for rejecting its very existence. He doesn't wanna reform the world he just wants to end it. His pursuit of destruction is not simply an attempt to escape an unacceptable reality and create the world anew it's a response to his conviction that reality is fundamentally flawed and he feels he is too.
