𝐊𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝟐. [1/5] — "My name's Kaiser... And I do the impossible! On your knees.. Blue Lock!" Very little in my years on typology platforms have I seen people interpret the social 2 with veracity, so I encourage the reader to go through my argument with an open mind, as this type is far more than the way people often judge it to be. Whilst beginning Blue Lock, I surmised that Kaiser would fall under the sexual 4 diagnostic but was proven wrong upon realization that he very congruently aligns with my renewed understanding of social 2. 𝟭. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗿'𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗻 Kaiser is initially presented to the audience as someone extremely brazen and prideful. He begins by taunting Isagi, wishing to elicit a negative reaction from him, in order to make Isagi feel inferior to him. He calls Blue Lock a joke and refers to the participants of it as merely circus animals that provide entertainment. All that tries to get in his way are viewed as pathetic clowns who are incapable of becoming the star because that is the role that he has already achieved. Kaiser "asserts dominance" confidently because of the belief that he is superior to others around him. This belief in the self is something directly backed by his rank as number one and by his entourage; people flock to him and revere him, which is why he is referred to as being on the "throne at the top," "the perfect embodiment of the Blue Lock ideal," an "emperor" or "king," and so on. It can be observed within the first few chapters after his arrival how closely his behavior and temperament align with a 2. Noel Noa has to tell him off because he flamboyantly announces his reign, confidently distinguishing himself from the rest. He is self-indulgent, despotic, yet all the same frivolous, free, witty, enthusiastic, and hedonistic in the social realm. When he notices that other players are flocking to Isagi, both for positive and negative reasons, he disrupts their conversations in order to persuade them to follow him, positioning himself as the correct king to choose. His social excellence shows, he is able to accurately read how the other players feel about Isagi, point out their flaws, and give advice about the negative feelings that they bear. By presenting himself as someone more experienced than Isagi, someone who could lead them to greatness so long as they follow him, he is able to continue his reign. This shows that, even though Kaiser maliciously disparages others to the point of openly defining them as "peasants," he still feels an impulsive compulsion to rally them under his governance, akin to a ranch owner herding their cattle. The ranch owner is dependent on his cattle for sustenance through sale and breeding, whereas Kaiser is dependent on the people he rallies because doing so re-affirms his overabundant perception of self, and makes him feel like a king. Which is, incidentally, the core foundation of the social 2: - ,, "The emperor plays the pride in the social convinced that he is much more capable than others to lead, plan or develop any project or activity that arises. The Social E2 needs, like all the proud, recognition; in particular, that which comes from groups. Paradoxically, inside him there is an intense self-devaluation and a deep feeling of loneliness." Kaiser's focus on social dynamics is especially exceedingly clear with the addition of how he likens the environment of Blue Lock to 'vaudeville.' He refers to himself as a king and the ruler of the stage, and castigates Isagi for his uninteresting soccer plays, claiming that the crowd will never care for him if he keeps acting out such an uninteresting script. This is a manipulative strategy and way of thinking that is utilized in order to re-affirm his role as the protagonist, and moreover, the person in control. It should be clear by this point that he is a social type, and that these behaviors align with E2 in particular: - ,, "The Social E2 needs to have everything under control, to the point of becoming a tyrant capable of turning the group against him. Conquest gives him the adrenaline he needs to feel alive. He is addicted to the thrill of power, influence and status." An additional point in favor of my case is Kaiser's intellectuality. Viewing people as little more than territory to conquer, and props to elevate himself to the upper echelons of hierarchy, he spends his free time reading psychology books and understanding them cognitively because doing so will allow him to subjugate them further. This perfectly coincides with the social 2: "Omnipotence finds its maximum satisfaction in planning actions of conquest, whether of people, status or territory. The moment he imagines himself achieving the objective, it is as if he already has it in his hands: "If I want it and I think about it, I already have it" (let's not forget that this subtype is, of the three, the most intellectual)"
