The Worldview Compass is a modification of the Worldview triangle based on 2 perpendicular axes and 4 quadrants representing the basic worldviews. Systematic worldviews have an organized vision of processes in the world and use the same method for every situation, while adaptive worldviews have more flexible rules for various situations and deal with things as they come and go. Complex worldviews are on a never-ending search for more knowledge, while simple worldviews can sustain themselves with a limited amount of knowledge. Additionally, Simple Adaptive and Complex Systematic are Concrete worldviews, which are based on tangible experiences and objects, while Complex Adaptive and Simple Systematic are Abstract worldviews, which are based on thoughts and ideas that can only be formed in the mind.
