Okay Kirihara is so NOT an 8, I feel like people just voted 8 because he has an aggressive personality. But what they’ve failed to consider is that’s actually his brother’s personality. You know, the brother he’s desperate to be abused and CONTROLLED by again. 8’s basic desire is to be in control, but Kirihara only acts the way he does and exerts power over others to feel connected to his brother. It shows that his brother still has control over him, and he’s comforted by that. Like in a lot of ways he’s the opposite of an 8. He’s just mimicking the personality of his 8 brother, if you look deeper his reasoning for acting that way is totally different. I think Kirihara is a 6. He’s missing the “support” of his brother in his life and trying desperately to get it back. 6’s basic fear is to be abandoned and left without support because they feel like they aren’t capable of facing life alone. THATS LITERALLY WHAT MR KIRIHARA ABANDONMENT ISSUES NOZOMU DOES, he feels like he’s nothing without his brother. Sure the “support” was abuse, so what he’s chasing isn’t really safety. But it gave him that same sense of stability, it’s all he’s ever known after all. He’s SCARED of a world without his brother’s violence, so he tries to fill that void by attaching himself to anyone willing to treat him the same. It’s the same core concept as a 6 really it’s just that he’s such a traumatized self destructive freak(/affectionate) about it that the security and support he desires is literal abuse
