I’d like to argue that Kizami’s subtype is sp/so, because while he definitely values more intimate connections rather than large social groups we need to take into consideration that Instinctual Variant is tied with Enneagram and how Kizami acted before the events of Heavenly Host occurred, since being placed in a situation like HH will inherently alter someone’s psychology. Also sorry for the long explanation and blocks of text I don’t feel like my argument is valid if I don’t grit my teeth trying to explain myself. ・Kizami Compared to Sexual 8 Sexual 8 is noted to be the most openly rebellious subtype. They typically act more provocative and flaunt that their beliefs differ from the norm. HH is an impossible and psychologically challenging situation to be in, so Kizami will be more willing to show his true colors because Kizami has the idea that he has nothing to lose if he does. Their primary vice is also possessiveness, which I don’t think would be a large aspect of Kizami’s character.. if at all? Yes, Kizami is obsessed with the idea having Yuka as a little sister, but I don’t think he’s “possessive” of her per se. He’s more fixated on the idea of just having someone be his younger sibling figure as a concept, and Yuka just so happens to be the only person in HH that fits the bill. While I think he does show some genuine liking towards her in comparison to other people because of how Yuka is still willing to show kindness towards him despite all the atrocities he’s done, I don’t think it’s really to the extent of possessiveness. There’s also the fact that sx8 are noted to be more emotionally expressive than so8 or sp8, and while that is true that Kizami doesn’t really make an effort to hide his emotions in Heavenly Host or during his early childhood, that can be attributed to situation and a child’s lack of knowledge/awareness for ethics. Pre-HH Kizami, and even Kizami in certain early moments in HH, puts up a front and is relatively stoic. ・Kizami Compared to Social 8 On the other hand, Social 8s are described to be more inhibited. They’re also described as “social antisocials” which I think suits Kizami much more. The violence of a Social 8 arises from solidarity, and while you might be wondering who Kizami even has any solidarity with, I’d mostly like to refer to his childhood for this segment. The example used by Naranjo to describe a Social 8 is “a child who became violent defending his mother to his father.” I’ll just cite most of the paragraph here so it’ll be easy to reference: “It has to do with the word loyalty, like that of a child who ally with the mother to confront the father and who develops a strong detachment from the paternal bond, which is why he surely becomes a difficult child in school. He rejects school because the entire institution has to do with an authority similar to that of the father, and he comes to experience an intellectual detachment because the intellect is also part of the father complex. We could say that the boy needs the love of his mother and that he has no hope of finding love in the father. Thus, he concludes: "I am going to join my mother against my father, I am going to protect my mother and I am going to get my mother's love."” In Kizami’s case, his solidarity is found in younger sibling figures based off his own experience. He deeply resents his family (especially his older siblings), and while I don’t think for him it extends to other similar figures such as Satoshi to Yuka, his concept of love is deeply influenced by how his family treated him. Kizami has no hope in finding love in his family because he had convinced himself that his entire family hated him and always would, therefore he’ll attempt to find that sense of love in a younger sibling figure who he never got to have, which pretty much defines his relationship with Yuka. Umm yea so that was my explanation for sp/so Kizami feel free to point something out if you disagree because if you think I did some serious mental gymnastics to write this then you are absolutely correct.
