One of the least versatile SLOAN types IMO. I think there's only one subtype that really fits RCUEN, and that would precisely be sp9. Anyways, let's contrast RCUEN with RCUEI, the latter which is archetypally INTP sp5 LVEF, while RCUEN is more archetypally ISTP sp9 FLEV. Although both Ti-dominant, the main difference between them is their relationship to the physical/sensory between the archetypal RCUEI vs. RCUEN. While RCUEI is physically lazy due to being more knowledge-seeking (sp5) and often shirks on thse priority to keep their physical environment in order (4F), RCUEN is more so intellectually lazy (which makes sense since they're low openness) and tends more towards indulging in their immediate environment, which fits more with sp9 and 1F, as well as socionics Si. In other words, this illustrates well the dichotomy between physical vs. mental laziness. Other reasons why sp9 goes hand in hand with RCUEN include the fact the E9s tend to be nonchalant and relaxed (xCUxx) and their primary focus on their own physical well-being (perhaps the most "self-preserving" in the literal sense of the word) makes them less outgoing and less friendly (RxxEx). And as with most gut types, they tend towards lower openness, especially E9, since they focus predominantly on the instinctual/concrete. Hence, sp9 -> RCUEN. As for why no other type really fits RCUEN nearly as well: - 2, 3, and 8 are all too extroverted/externally oriented to be Rxxxx - 5 and 7 are too mental and imaginative to be xxxxN - 6 could potentially be a second candidate for RCUEN since they tend to be lower extroversion and openness, but it still really doesn't fit nearly as perfectly, since 6s tend to be higher on neuroticism, as they're constantly anxious over their own security. - 1 is too disciplined and conscientious to be xxUxx - 4 doesn't fit at all either due to 4s usually being high openness and high neuroticism (xLxxI) - so9 and sx9 are too warm and affable compared to the nonchalant and deadbeat RCUEN. Hence, RCUEN -> sp9. Although I will acknowledge that since Big 5 is meant to be a continuous spectrum that scores you on five broad traits rather than discrete categorization (unlike any other typology system), the correlation that I'm arguing for here is inherently less exact and more rough than, say, MBTI+Enneagram correlations.
