Through the investigation, she wanted to get closer to Karl because she felt attracted to him (Fi), so she wanted to get closer to him through the efficiency that the results would have (Te), but when she noticed that Karl "left her aside" to accompany to his father, she bursts out and cries, while hugging Nina, for that. It's like "I helped him find his biological father, and he doesn't thank me", it's like she's stressed that her "plan" didn't turn out the way she wanted (Si). (I watched the anime a few months ago, I probably misphrased some parts)
