I agree, being smart and intelligent, planning doesn't always make you an INTJ. But Khun just doesn't fit the INTP functions stack. He shows far more tert Fi than inf Fe, I mean, he rather cares about his values and emotions than group harmony.Khun shows Te way more than Ti - focused on efficiency and external facts, with Ni as dominant function, future focused, and trying to find the meaning behind stuff. Remember the test with doors? Khun spent too much time trying to get as much information, knowledge from the outside and figure out the meaning, pattern, to what to choose, worrying too much about not having enough information? That in my opinion showed his Te. Ti is more focused on subjective logic, while Te on gaining information, therefore not having enough information was shocking to Khun.
