He’s got that sit back and observe kind of disposition (Ni) but will manage the group almost exclusively when it comes to interpersonal issues (Fe). Even as the bands pseudo manager he does not use Te nearly as well or as much as Nana osaki who is using it in her tertiary spot. Not much strict motivation towards getting tasks done and doesn’t have much of a competitive or goal hungry spirit like other ESTJs you’ll see typed here. Being a lawyer requires a lot of technical skill like analysis, knowledge on semantics, research, and data review which he seems to rely on as a means of stability (Ti) . Seems to be a lawyer because it’s something that he’s naturally good at and not because he has a passion or yearning for law. Like he said, Trapnest took a lot from him and I think he leaned on traditional schooling after his band disintegrated and his crush fell in love with another man because all he had left was his skill set. He has good foresight and notices trends ( i.e picking up that Shin conveniently has a stomach ache only when he needs to smoke). He seems to know everything about everyone ( Ni birds eye view of Fe interpersonal affairs). He took the time to delve into Shin and Misato to cover and account for what details his Ni could not. The only thing he seems oblivious to is Nana ironically enough, because he Fe-Ti’s himself out of going for her. His yearning for Nana is left at that because of inferior Se, unable to act on Ni’s goals and ambitions. Even when he tries to make an effort to tell her what he wants he passively lets her slip from his grasp. He knows how to see through a person and poke the right buttons to evoke a specific response and understands everyone’s motivations from a sober perspective. I think ESTJ votes might be overly attached to his role as a leader and lawyer in the series. I struggle to see inferior Ne.
