the farmer is supposed to be a person tired out by the corporate grind and quit it all for the countryside without much security in mind... the new lifestyle they chose involves immersing in the environment and doing physical labour. as a new player, unless you've watched hundreds of youtube guides, you're just supposed to be figuring things out as they unfold and enjoy the ride. the game itself also doesn't rush anyone into having any kinds of goals. all this seems super Fi-Se at least to me (won't argue for Se-Fi because i think most people here agree our character keeps to themselves even in dialogues). the farmer's move to Stardew Valley is driven by personal values and an adrenaline-filled urge for change. i can acknowledge that everyone has their own style of playing and progressing once there's been a momentum, but this is essentially the backstory that we've been given and it's most likely pointing to ISFP... i also just happen to be an ISFP writing this and already obsessed with the game after my first weeks of playing lol
