After watching all 10 episodes, I think that Purple is an ISTP. This is my analysis and the reasons why, starting from the most obvious: 1. Inferior Fe (IXTP types) She normally doesn't prioritize group harmony, and she is not afraid to oppose anyone in order to make the most logical decision. For instance, she constantly clashes with Red for his irresponsible behavior in sticking to MIRA protocols and letting crewmates die for the sake of "looking good" for his captain position. However, even as brash and blunt as she may be, she still cares about the wellbeing of the other crewmates. As noted in her backstory, she is resentful of MIRA for cutting corners over prioritizing the safety of their workers and wanted to whistleblow the corrupt system (this can also stem from Ti dom, as she finds the system illogical). For instance, she befriended Cyan when she found her crying in the pantry and consoled her. At that moment, she was very awkward, stating "Oh, emotions" and "There's tears coming out from your eyes" upon facing this situation. As inf Fe manifests as a childlike state, this is shown when Purple crashes out over her pet fish when it dies due to a lack of oxygen, and she secretly retrieves its body afterward. 2. Tertiary Ni (ISTP) She is good at piecing clues together and connecting the dots. For example, she has a eureka moment and realizes that Green is the impostor when she finds out Green does not remember the backstory that she told him during the O2 and light sabotages during their confrontation in the reactor. Other than that, she is also aware of the long-term implications that Red will cause due to his negligence and MIRA's corrupt corporate system, where they fail to attend to the crew's safety as well as shipping Ore+ knowing they are alien impostor eggs. She also pieced her observations together and figured out that impostors can use vents after watching Orange's ejection, that everyone is suffering from hypoxemia, and that the impostors' weakness is salt (by piecing together the fact that Orange didn't want salt on her pizza, and the crewmates used salt in an attempt to drive off impostors before they died). 3. Auxiliary Se She has good observation, as seen when she figured out that impostors are boneless by watching Orange's impostor form explode in space, and when she figured out salt is the weakness of the impostors by observing the scene of death. 4. Dominant Ti Even as she accuses people, her statements are logical. She doesn't take things at face value; like when everyone said that Yellow was the one who killed Cyan since Yellow was the last person to be with Cyan, she must have realized that Yellow killing Cyan—knowing that everyone knew she was the only one with her—was illogical, therefore proposing a theory where an impostor might have framed Yellow by kill-venting in electrical. Therefore, Purple's cognitive functions are Ti-Se-Ni-Fe, an ISTP. Other remarks: And she is a classic sx6, where she is paranoid, constantly scanning for threats, and responding to danger or disagreement with people with intimidation and aggression (and being accusatory). She is 6w5 instead of 6w7 because she seeks security by being competent and knowledgeable. (might come back and line edit this analysis for clarity).
